OUT NOW: "Bonnie & Clyde" is Gonna Steal Your Heart
"I saw a rattlesnake in the middle of the road...and it reminded me of her."

On his new album -- and at every live gig -- Southern California singer/songwriter Tom Ciurczak (Sir-Zak) offers up an infectious blend of energetic rhythms, danceable beats and powerful storytelling lyrics that make you think you are listening to a crossbreed of Bruce Springsteen, Warren Zevon and Steve Earle, complete with Eagles-esque harmonies and hook-laden Eric Clapton style guitar work.
The single off his forthcoming album dropped worldwide today, and Tom revealed in an IG Live this morning that he's glad "Bonnie and Clyde" are free because they'd been burning a hole in his pocket for a very long time. It's a fitting first single for Tom's unique "Outlaw Rock" sensibility, which often leads him to write his all original material about American fables, wild characters, and love stories gone wrong.
"We've been prepping this album for over a year and a half, and man, it's been a blast to record at FrogTown Studios with folks like Stephen Haaker and Brett Grossman; we even finished up the mastering with the renowned GRAMMY(R)-winning Emily Lazar. I feel really fortunate, and I hope everyone enjoys it all summer long!"
Tom loves playing solo around #SoCal, gigging with whoever's in the room, and working out the songs live. Tom's performance calendar, including full band performances later this summer, is available here.
Stay tuned for the second single on July 7th! Visit https://tomciurczak.com/ for this summer of fun!
